A printer can be a bit of minefield especially if you don’t know that most have hidden costs in the replacement printer cartridges. The Samsung CLP-300n is designed to packed as much as possible into a small compact unit with a reasonable purchase price and running costs. In an effort to make the running costs affordable to the small business and home user Samsung clp-300n toner cartridges are a new design which are smaller which means they save space and also yield fewer pages than the normal Samsung toner cartridges. This gives the CLP-300n a cost per page of 2p for black prints and 10p for colour which is pretty reasonable. The downsizing of the toner cartridges has not had any effect on the quality of the output, black text and graphics are very good for a printer it this class as are the colour printing. One thing that’s not so impressive about the CLP-300n is the colour printing speed, while mono prints are an impressive 16ppm colour falls below expectations with only 4ppm. The CLP-300n is fully network ready so can be shared between numerous PCs or can be connected via USB to a standalone PC. Samsung have done well to be able to offer the CL-300n at just a reasonable price and with very few compromises.
Who can ever forget the 1939 MGM classic about a young girl named Dorothy Gale with her dog Toto when her life was turned around by a tornado and the strangers she met along her journey to the Wizard of Oz? 72 years after and the gang will head to London Palladium — from silver screen to the West End — this time, with additional scores from Andrew Lloyd Webber. Danielle Hope from the hit TV show ‘Over The Rainbow’ will play Dorothy. Wizard of oz tickets are now on sale so book early to get the best seat for the entire family.
Halloween is possibly one of the scariest nights in the world. People are dressed as scary monsters animals, and other mischievous characters. Children will be running around, hopped up on sugar from all the candy they are eating. Parents and older kids on the other hand might be attending a number of Halloween bashes set up just for this special night. Most people will have traditional parties will punch and skeletons set up everywhere. Therefore, you should be a bit more creative and have a Villains themed Halloween party. In this party, each person would come dressed as their favorite villain and do their best to talk that way. For example, if someone attending dressed up as Cruela Deville that person would be required to speak in a snobby tone and carry around a long french cigarette. Another example would be someone who dressed up as Jafar from Aladdin. This person would have to speak with a long boring drawl and every once in a while break out in an evil cackle, characteristic of that evil man, Jafar. Halloween party invitations for a Villains themed party could be very fun. If you wanted, you could assign each person a villain that they would have to be and the Halloween invitations would reflect that. For example, someone who has to dress up as the Joker from Batman would receive a Halloween invitation which is Joker themed. So get out those good looking Halloween invitations and get ready for a villainous night!

The keyboard patterns of black and white notes provide an attractive design for memorizing through seeing. We live in an age of visual images and most people find visual memory easier than tactile or hearing. Many pianists have developed visual memory to a high art form. They describe seeing pages of notes from which they read as they play. Often these players close their eyes to read the music in their minds, and then use tactile skills for playing. Some of my teen students who memorize readily see themselves running up and down the black and white notes in patterns. They visualize their fingerings. They also visualize parts of the printed page. They say they can ‘hear’ the notes they ’see’ and know whether it ’sounds right’. Thus they are using visual, tactile and hearing senses effectively together. Here are some suggestions for developing visual memory:
1. Look at the first phrase or group of notes. What is the first note? The last? The lowest? The highest? The loudest? The softest?
2. Play it on the keyboard.
3. Close your eyes. Can you see the five lines and four spaces of the staff? Can you see the first note, last note?
4. Can you see your hand playing? Where is your thumb?
5. Read your mind. Recite the notes in order. Which is loudest? Quietest?
6. Open your eyes and look at the ones you couldn’t see. What are they? What is the best way for you to remember them? Is singing best? Is feeling best? Or is a combination best?
Adapt memorization to the piece and to yourself Be creative. Learning is always an experiment. We never know if the experiment will work. If one idea doesn’t work, try another. Each time you try to learn, figure out what is best for you.
One of my teachers, a concert artist, had an amazing ability to memorize quickly. He taught me to: (1) take the score away from the piano and memorize as you would a poem; to see the notes on each page in my mind. (2) Play the score by reading my mind. Along with this, he taught me to analyze details of problem spots and picture these on the page or on the keyboard with the correct fingers playing each note. (3) Memorize cadences intellectually by memorizing names of top and bottom notes, type of chord and key, etc. (4) Memorize stopping points intellectually so that I could recite all the notes. His approach was an exciting intellectual development in my life. It seemed as if my mind had expanded and I could fill it more full than ever before. However, there are people who cannot visualize and this method would be useless for them. I could use his method because from childhood I was able to visualize scenes, faces, or pages in a book from my mind’s memory bank.

Baby One More Time is a famous album by Britney Spears. Check out lyrics of this beautiful song.
Oh baby baby, oh baby baby
Oh baby baby, how was I supposed to know
That something wasnt right here
Oh baby baby, I shouldnt have let you go
And now youre out of sight, yeah
Show me how you want it to be
Tell me baby cuz I need to know now, oh because
Chorus
My loneliness is killin me (and I)
I must confess I still believe (still believe)
When Im not with you I lose my mind
Give me a sign, hit me baby one more time!
Oh baby baby, the reason I breathe is you
Boy youve got me blinded
Oh pretty baby, theres nothin that I wouldnt do
Thats not the way I planned it
Show me how you want it to be
Tell me baby cuz I need to know now, oh because
Chorus
Oh baby baby, how was I supposed to know
Oh pretty baby, I shouldnt have let you go
I must confess that my loneliness
Is killin me now
Dont you know I still believe
That you will be here
And give me a sign, hit me baby one more time
Chorus
I must confess (my loneliness) that my loneliness
(is killing me) is killing me now
(I must confess) dont you (I still believe) know I still believe
That you will be here (I lose my mind)
And give me a sign…
Hit me baby one more time!
